Invasion Mode (the equivalent to MK11's Krypt) is online-only.
Towers can be beaten offline.
You won't receive XP/unlocks offline.
Disc install is a total of ~86 GB. Day one patch increases the install size to 114,5 GB

*All Kameo Fatalities work with inputs from the in-game command list, but kameo brutalities seems not work before unlock.
*Fatalities 1 works fine for all characters, Fatalities 2 (list on the internet) work for all without unlocking, except Scorpion, Mileena and Rain, whose disc build inputs have not yet been found.
One standard brutality available for every chars, the others are unlockable online.

*Character challenges are available after D1 patch.
*Havik, 5 Kameos (Motaro, Shujinko, klassic Kung Lao-Sub Zero-Scorpion) and the Pyramid arena are unlockable online, same for all skins, cosmetics and gallery artworks. After the unlock, you can use them also offline.
First tester:
Tester experienced 2 crashes, both times around act 4 of the story.
Tester also experienced random, yet severe sound bugs. Sounds for kicks and punches wouldn't play properly, even resulting in entire fights without sound for these.
Second tester:
No freezing or block in story mode. However, the absence of music in certain arenas has been confirmed as a bug. Just recharge the chapter and the music comes back.
Sometimes between the end of the fight and the cutscene, there is a bit of stuttering. In some scenes, there’s little graphic errors and not updated models.
The attacks/moves list in game is incorrect for few characters, in particular General Shao's special move list is wrong, the same thing for the move list of Darrius (kameo), who has also an extra attack in the disc build, removed in patched version.
However, commands of the updated post-patch moves list (found on the internet) generally works also in build 1.00.
You can see the endings of every base characters beating the Klassic Towers, but endings do not remain saved offline in the archive.
