Game is still enjoyable, despite the problems.

Issues:
Some slight FPS issues occasionally.
Some textures look different (artistic design) compared to patched.
Some very minor occasional lighting issues.
Noticed a lot less crashes & issues unpatched. Patch added a lot more issues in terms of crashing but did improve the FPS somewhat.
Texture streaming is just as bad patched as unpatched. World 2 boss is more aggressive unpatched & has faster moving projectiles.
You cannot heal in Helios unpatched. The game contains no tutorial messages unpatched.
Clearly the team added some of these features to make the game easier after launch.

Note: There are reports of bugged trophies that won't unlock properly in the launch version. We didn't encounter problems during our playtime, but be aware that you may encounter this issue regardless.
